With 25 years’ experience covering disciplines as diverse as Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine, nutrition, aromatherapy and more, Myriam Zaoui Malka’s approach to the beauty industry is both comprehensive and holistic. Passionate about using only natural ingredients and gentle formulations in the creation of products that promote health and wellbeing, she believes that beauty begins from within.

 

After moving from her native Paris to New York in her twenties, Myriam co-founded The Art of Shaving. And in almost 15 years as Chief Creative Officer she shaped the company’s long-term branding, marketing, design and product development strategy by focusing on the use of natural ingredients to improve men’s shaving experience. She also established the company’s own laboratories, in which she and her team of chemists developed a series of award winning and industry-first product innovations for The Art of Shaving.

 

When Gillette/Procter & Gamble acquired the company in 2009, Myriam was retained for two years as a consultant to P&G’s R&D team. During that tenure she built a body of knowledge and experience in upstream product development, formulating and testing that proves invaluable in her role today as the SBI Chief Creative Officer, responsible for leading the company’s brand portfolio’s formulation, branding and marketing initiatives.
